Preparing a SAP BTP subaccount for Requirements Valuation Cockpit

Creation of subscriptions/service instances and BTP roles for IPD apps

Introduction

Before you can start using Requirements Valuation Cockpit (RVC) by CENIT on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), you need to ensure your sub-account is properly configured with the necessary subscriptions, service instances, and user access rights.

In this lesson, the main focus is the understanding of the technical prerequisites of RVC.

Subscriptions

RVC requires the following subscriptions in the sub-account under your company’s SAP BTP global account:

Instances

RVC requires following service instances in the sub-account under your company’s SAP BTP global account:

RVC requires following service instances in your company’s sub-account under CENIT's SAP BTP global account:

Listed service instances need to be bound to a Cloud Foundry space in the subaccount and need to have at least one service key assigned of them.

  1. To create these service instances follow the steps in Creating Service Instances in Cloud Foundry.
  2. To create service keys for the instances created, follow the steps in Service Keys.

User Access

To work with RVC as a business user, following apps must be available to the user:

  • Requirements Management and Systems Modeling app of Requirements Management capability of SAP IPD
  • My Collaborations app of Collaboration capability of SAP IPD

To perform configuration for RVC, following apps must be available to the system administrator:

  • Requirements Management and Systems Modeling app of Requirements Management capability of SAP IPD
  • Manage Statuses app of Common Functions capability of SAP IPD
  • Configure Collaboration app of Collaboration capability of SAP IPD
  • Manage Teams app of Common Functions capability of SAP IPD
