Setting up People Profile

The People Profile allows you to view and edit your own or others’ information collected from various SAP SuccessFactors solutions, including Employee Central, Learning, Performance and Goals, and Compensation. With People Profile, a person's entire profile is stored on one simple, consolidated page and you can take immediate action. You can quickly find the most important or most recent information and drill down to see more detail when needed.

You can select which data fields to highlight at the top of the page and control the layout and organization of profile content for your company. Visibility of employee data on the profile is controlled by Role-Based Permissions.

People Profile Header, Categories, and Cards

1. Header with basic employee information such as:

   Profile photo, Display name, Login name, Pronouns (not displayed in the card details page), Job title, Department, Employment indicators and status, Employment differentiator, Out of office status, Managers' direct reports and team size, Alumni indicator, and Onboarding New Hire indicator.

2. Categories:

   Predefined: categories such as Personal Data, Job Data, Compensation, Time Management, Benefits, Payroll, Performance and Goals, Succession, Learning and Development. Custom created: categories for displaying further cards.

3. Cards

   Predefined: cards display various types of personal details, various aspects of employment, compensation, time-related data, benefits, payroll, performance goals, performance history, trend information, and calibration history, nominations, successors, and talent pools, development goals.

   Custom created: Cards to display information such as Custom MDF objects, Custom Background Elements and/or User Information.

You can access a list of actions and links through All Actions, including Employee Central Quick Actions, and navigation to other SAP SuccessFactors applications. The list is divided into four groups:

1. Change and View

   Perform Employee Central Quick Actions to view or change specific employee information.

2. Take Action

   Perform common tasks, such as adding concurrent employment and terminating employment, or navigating to other pages through custom navigation links.

3. Links

   Navigate to other pages through predefined and custom navigation links.

4. Search

   For specific actions and links.

Profile Preview welcomes visitors with a snapshot of the person's essential details and provides you with access to quick actions. You can access the Full Profile and Org Chart directly from Profile Preview.

By displaying cards that can be configured the Spotlight builds and represents personal brand by showcasing:

• Skills and Competencies
• Mentoring and Target roles
• Other relevant personal and organizational information.

• People Profile delivers community-enriched employee data, connecting employees and supporting talent decision-making on a single page.
• The responsive SAP Fiori design adapts People Profile for optimal viewing on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• People Profile allows access to employee info via the header (basic details), predefined/custom categories, and cards displaying functional or personal data.

• Use Profile Preview to quickly view essential employee details, access quick actions, and navigate to the Full Profile and Org Chart.

• Displayed content in Full People Profile depends on implemented modules and configured Role-Based Permissions.
