Name Remark Label

This setting allows you to add a customized Name Remark field to the traveler's SAP Concur record and profile. This field will be visible on the User Details page in the User Administration area.

If this additional field is required, complete the following:

  • Add a Name Remark Label in the Travel Configuration

The field will display in the User Details page as depicted in the following graphic.

The image shows the Other Information section with the Name Remark Label entry highlighted and Cost Center entered as an example there. The User Details section of the User Administration area is also shown and the Cost Center field is highlighted there. A dotted line from the Name Remark Label entry indicates that what is entered there will be included as a field in the User Details section.

Travel Help URL

Use this travel configuration setting to enter the URL the users are directed to when they select the Help dropdown menu on the top right hand corner and select Travel Help.

The image shows the “Other Information” section with the “Travel Help URL” field highlighted. A dotted line connects this URL setting to the Help dropdown menu on the SAP Concur Travel home page, demonstrating that users are directed to the URL in the “Travel Help URL field.

If the Travel Help page was not customized on the Travel Configuration page, the user will be directed to the Concur Travel Professional Edition End User Help page.

Travel Tools URL

Use this setting to allow customers to add or remove the Tools tab on the Travel submenu.

The image shows the Travel Tools URL highlighted in the Other Information section. The Travel Tools URL field is connected by dotted lines to the Tools option on the Concur Travel Home page which then leads to the Travel Tools page, showing that the link destination for the Tools option is controlled by the URL specified in the Travel Tools URL setting.

Note

This setting is not available in new Concur Travel

Host String

This setting allows you to modify the logo that appears at the top-left corner of the Travel page by setting up custom branding. If you have custom branding, you are given a custom login URL that appends ?host= and your host string to the standard Concur Travel URL.

If you do not wish to direct users to log in using this custom URL, you can put the host string value in this field and direct users to the standard Travel login page. Once logged in, users will see the custom logo at the top-left corner of the page.

This setting allows you to customize the logo that appears at the top-left corner of the Travel page. This is usually used for the customer logo.

Company Logo (will go in itinerary)

This travel configuration setting is used to add the customer logo to the itinerary email sent to the travelers. To display a company logo on emailed itineraries, enter the URL for your logo in the field. If you do not want the logo to appear in the Travel itinerary, leave this field blank.

Manager/Approver Label

With this setting, you can customize the manager/approver label displayed on the User's Profile page.

The default Manager/Approver Label is Manager. This is automatically translated in all languages available. To customize the label, uncheck the Use Default checkbox and then add the customized label in the text field on the right.

the label is displayed in the Company Information section of the User Profile as depicted in the following graphic.

The image shows the Manager/Approver Label setting with Use Default selected and Manager displayed as the default label. A dotted line connects this setting to the Manager field in a user profile under Company Information, illustrating that the label defined in the setting determines how the field appears in user profiles.

Itinerary Message

This setting allows a customized message to display at the bottom of the itinerary email sent to travelers. This information is in text format, not HTML.

The image highlights a section of text at the very bottom of a travel itinerary. In this example the text includes a detailed policy statement about how travel itineraries are integrated with the expense management system to ensure accountability, transparency, audit compliance, and fiscal responsibility.

Use alternate login text (text or HTML) for emails

This setting allows you to customize the login text in the travel approval email that is sent to the approver.

Screenshot of a settings option labeled Use alternate login text (text or HTML) for emails with a checkbox selected. Below, a text box contains the message: Please log in to Concur Travel and Expense to approve or reject this trip.

When the setting is enabled, the default text, "Please log in to Concur Travel and Expense to approve or reject this trip." is included in the email. If the setting is disabled, no login text will appear.
