Cost Objects

A screeenshot of a interface titled Localize Cost Objects. The interface displays a table with two columns: Source Value (English) and Cost Objects. The rows in the table contain the following entries: Authorize, Exempt from Approval, New Location, SKU, and Size. There are several tabs at the top of the interface: Expense Types, Invoice Expense Types, Cost Objects (highlighted in yellow), Exceptions, Missing Receipt Declaration, List Items, and Payment Types. A Save button is located at the top left of the table, and the target language is set to Italian.

Cost objects are specific items or categories that need to be tracked for expense reporting. By localizing cost object labels, you ensure that users can easily identify and select the correct categories in their preferred language. This is particularly important if your company operates in multiple regions, as it helps maintain consistency and accuracy in expense reporting across different languages.

On the Localize Cost Objects tab you can enter localized labels for each cost object, ensuring that they are appropriately named for the target language. Once the labels are entered, remember to save your changes to apply the new names.
