Localizing Payment Types

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to localize Payment Types.

Payment Types

A screenshot of a software interface titled Localize Payment Types. The interface is designed to translate payment types into different languages. The current target language is Italian. The interface shows a table with two columns: Source Value (English) and Payment Type. The English term Cash is translated to the Italian term Contanti. There are navigation tabs at the top, numbered 1 to 7, with the seventh tab, Payment Types, highlighted in yellow. A blue Save button is located on the left side of the interface.

Payment types refer to the various methods by which expenses can be paid or reimbursed within an organization. These can include credit cards, cash, or checks, among others. Each payment type may have specific requirements and processes associated with it, which need to be clearly defined and localized for different regions.

In the context of translations, payment types can be customized to display localized text for different languages. This ensures that the user see the appropriate language-specific text when selecting payment types during expense reporting.

To translate payment types, navigate to the Localize Payment Types tab within the Localize page. Select the target language and enter the localized text for each payment type in the corresponding column. Remember to save your changes to ensure that the localized text is applied correctly.
