Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to describe the Defense and Security force elements and accounting objects.

Cost Center, Profit Center, and Funds Center

The creation of the accounting objects and structure follows the principles shown in the figure, Organization Related Financial Structure:

  • Cost Center, Cost Center Group, Profit Center, and Profit Center Group can be assigned to a Force Element
  • Cost Center, Cost Center Group, Profit Center, and Profit Center Group can be inherited from a superior Force Element
  • Furthermore, The Company Code and Controlling Area can also be inherited from the Root Objects (Force Element)

The Integration to the Funds Management follows the principles shown in the figure, Force Element and Funds Center Derivation:

  • Funds Center can be derived from Cost Center, Cost Center Group (from Enhancement pack 3), Profit Center, and Profit Center Group (from Enhancement pack 3)
