Deleting Unnecessary Functions

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to access the Functions Viewer and delete unnecessary functions.

The Functions Viewer

Functions transform strings in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting job posting data before they're forwarded to your career site. By transforming strings, functions address things such as misconfigurations or style changes.

A screenshot shows that the Functions Viewer tab is selected.

The Functions Viewer in Career Site Builder lets you see existing functions in your implementation, if any were created.

If the Functions Viewer page under the Tools menu in Career Site Builder is blank, this means that your implementation partner didn't create any functions for your career site in the legacy Command Center.

If functions are listed on this page, the only action that can be taken is to delete any functions that are no longer needed. This allows you to refine your posting content in the system of record (SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting) so that consistent job posting content is available for all downstream publication processes, Career Site Builder, and Recruiting Posting.

If Career Site Builder's role-based permissions are enabled, set the Functions Viewer permission for any CSB users who should have access from CSBUsersRoles .
