Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to customize and duplicate Content pages.

Duplicate a Page

In this exercise, you will duplicate the Diversity content page that you created for the Red brand.

Navigate to CSB→Pages→Content, and click the + (Expand All) button at the top of the left navigation pane.
Notice that the Default Brand contains the Diversity page that you created, but none of the other brands contain that page. (Further, if you expand the German and Spanish translations, you’ll see that no pages have been created for those locales.)
Click on the Diversity page under the Default Brand.
From the gear icon at the top, select Duplicate Page . For Title enter Diversity, leave the Locale set to English, and for Brand select Red. Click Save. Notice from the top of the page that the Diversity page on the Red brand is opened if you need to make changes.
Click Publish and Preview.

For mobile users, Best Run would like to use a specially cropped image for the Diversity Content page.

Navigate to CSB→Pages→Content→English→Default Brand→Diversity.
On the right top of the Large Image component, click the icon representing Duplicate Component Below.
For the first Large Image component, deselect the option for Mobile.
For the second Large Image component, deselect the options for Desktop and Tablet.
For the second Large Image component, click on the blue Large Image name and enter mobile. Click Close and notice that the component is now named mobile-Large Image.
Open the second Large Image component, which you will customize for mobile users.
1. Click the Change Image button.
2. Follow the instructions in the Add a Content Page exercise to upload the image Diversity_photo_mobile.jpg. Remember to Edit Alt Text ("2 people working together") and Select the image.
3. The Image Type, Image Position, and Max Height of Image settings do not need to be changed.
4. Publish and Preview.
5. Resize the preview window to a cell phone size. Notice that the image is better balanced for mobile phone users.

Use the Duplicate Page function to copy content pages from one brand to another while maintaining consistent content structure.
Create device-specific image components by duplicating and configuring display settings for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
Leverage page duplication to streamline content management across multiple brands and locales within the Content Service Builder.
Upload specially cropped images and configure component visibility settings to ensure content displays appropriately on mobile devices.
