Exploring Design Settings

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to configure the various design settings for WalkMe content.

Design Settings WalkMe

Using WalkMe's design settings, you can make your WalkMe content look much more native to your site!

What are Design Settings?

The design settings in WalkMe can customize the look and feel of your WalkMe content, which can be done at a Global level and Local level. Design settings can help with making the content look much more native to the site.

Global and Local Level Designs

Global Level Design

Global Level Design can be found by clicking on the Settings (gear icon) in the top right corner of your editor. In this area, you can make global changes that will take effect across all your Balloons and SmartTips. For changes across all Launchers, ShoutOuts, and Surveys, you'll need to work within the CSS section. To learn more about CSS, check out the "CSS with WalkMe" course.

Local Level Design

Local Level Design Changes occur when you use the Change Design or Edit CSS on a single step of a Smart Walk-Thru or SmartTip. This will override any Global Level Design settings and allows you to have some flexibility to customize for one-off instances.
