  • Explain the SAP Identity Authentication Service and its connection to SAP Sports One
  • Manage the administration settings in SAP IAS used for SAP Sports One

Introduction and Key Facts about SAP Identity Authentication Service

When managing user profiles, SAP Sports One isn’t the only source available. Let’s get SAP Sports One up and running in your global account on the SAP Business Technology Platform! During setup, you’ll connect your global account to SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), a user authentication tool that ensures only authorized users can access SAP Sports One.

Through SAP’s identity provider, IAS, you can manage users across different SAP systems, providing a centralized, efficient user management experience. For further details, see the additional information available on SAP Identity Authentication Service.

SAP IAS Administration: Settings, Policies, and Guidelines

The default configuration of IAS provides a strong foundation while also allowing for customization to better suit your club’s specific needs. In this lesson, we will guide you to the key resources for customizing the SAP Sports One system.

Some of the main adjustments within the SAP Identity Authentication Service include password policies, templates for the SAP Sports One user activation email, and various branding customizations tailored to your club.
