Team Overview is a tool for Managers. It allows managers to get that one-page list of their direct reports and evaluate their performance depending on the status of a performance form. They can also use Team Rater (aka Stack Ranker) to evaluate competencies.
Depending on calibration permissions, a manager can initiate a calibration session from here.
Access to the Team Overview tab is managed with permissions. You can hide this tab for users who do not need it, such as users without direct reports.

Ask for Feedback is one of the tools for the Team Overview feature. It allows managers to provide a more balanced review that considers others' points of view, which is done by soliciting feedback through email.
Users will be able to provide comments only and not ratings. These comments/feedback will be recorded on the Supporting Information pod of the subject’s performance form. With the permissions, it is possible to control who can see the feedback.
Feedback can also be solicited from external users by simply providing the email address and name. This particular feature of the Ask for Feedback tool can be disabled in the settings of a form (advanced or form template settings).
