Labor Type

Labor Types are clusters of the most common job types that have been determined using industry-wide standards.

Labor types are not presented as choices within transactions; instead, they impact the availability of associated job postings and templates and can drive the routing of postings to certain suppliers.

Navigating the Labor Type Admin Object

The Company Structure section of the Admin Menu, the Labor Type selection is highlighted.
1To view the list of labor types, select Labor Type from the Company Structure section of the admin menu.

Labor Type List page

Labor types are defaulted in SAP Fieldglass — they cannot be created, edited, or deleted.

Labor Type Details page

No details or actions button are available for labor types.

Labor types exist solely for the purpose of creating associations, so the only information provided is the list of data objects to which they have been associated.

Technical Labor Type Details page. The Details section includes only the Name of the Labor Type: Industrial. However, the association tree indicates the number of Invoice Billing Scheduled and Custom Fields associated to this labor type.
