Using Contextual Help

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to configure Contextual Help in SAP Fieldglass.

Contextual Help

Contextual Help allows you to add custom instructional text at the page, section, and field levels. By using contextual help, you're able to reduce the need for users to search and view external training and documentation by localizing help information.

When contextual help has been defined for a section, page, or field on a form page, the Contextual Help appears in a message box or as a (light bulb) icon at the field level.

Contextual help is displayed for all users with access to the applicable module and activity and cannot be associated to specific business units or user roles.

Configure Contextual Help

WorkingNet Networking, Inc., a global manufacturer of data networking equipment, has added some new managers who aren’t as familiar with SAP Fieldglass as the seasoned managers. To provide a little help to the new managers, they decide to add some contextual help to job postings.

As the SAP Fieldglass administrator for WorkingNet, you will need to configure contextual help for job postings.
