Working with Job Question Checklists

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to create a Job Question Checklist in SAP Fieldglass.

Job Question Checklists

When enabled in the company configuration, certain job postings may include job questions to help hiring managers gauge whether job candidates conform to certain requirements. But job questions cannot be added directly to job posting templates; they must first be grouped into Job Question Checklists, which are then added to templates.

These checklists allow for the job qualification questions to be grouped and easily shared among Job Posting Templates.

Job Question Checklists are only available when the 'Recruiter Toolbox for Direct Hire' and 'Temp type of Job Posting/Position' are selected on the Company Configuration.

Navigating the Job Question Checklist Admin Object

Worker section of the Admin Menu, the Job Question Checklist selection is highlighted.
1To view a list of job question checklists associated to the tenant, select Job Question Checklist from the Worker section of the admin menu.

Job Question Checklist List page

Job question checklists allow for the job qualification questions to be categorized to serve a common purpose, such as determining the eligibility for a certain position. The codes and names of the checklists will reflect their purpose. For instance, an Electrical Engineer checklist might contain questions that will help hiring managers determine if a job seeker is qualified to design networking equipment.

Job Question Checklist Details page

A job question checklist contains, obviously, the questions that are to be added to the job posting template. But the questions can also be divided further into sections, and those sections can include additional information about those sections.

3Job questions can be further clustered into Sections within the checklist, and those sections can also optionally include header and footer text to help describe the section. The questions contained within each section appear immediately below the header/footer table.
4Selected Questions within the checklist are visible within each appropriate section. They are listed in the sequence they will appear on the associated page.

Create a Job Question Checklist

When filling positions on her network engineering team, Mavis, the manager of network engineering at WorkingNet Networking Inc., a global manufacturer of networking equipment, would like candidates to list their skills in various aspects of network design.

She has provided you with a number of questions to add to network engineering job postings, and you have created those questions in SAP Fieldglass.

However, before you can actually attach them to the job posting template, you must add them to a Job Question Checklist.

Summary

Job Question Checklists group job qualification questions to easily share among Job Posting Templates. They help hiring managers evaluate whether candidates meet specific requirements.
