Downloading Data

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to navigate a Download Data admin object.

Download Data

The Download Data page allows you to manually execute any download connector that is enabled for your company and configured to be run via the user interface.

Download connectors must be enabled in the company configuration before they can display in the Active Connector File Format list.

Navigating the Download Data Admin Object

The Integration section of the Admin Menu, the Download Data selection is highlighted.
1To view a list of downloads available to WorkingNet’s tenant, select Download Data from the Integration section of the admin menu.

The available templates are listed here. A brief description of each is listed to the right of each integration connector item. More information for each connector template is available by selecting the connector name link.

2aYou would download a connector by selecting the radio button next to the connector you want to download...
2b...then select the Download button.

There are two Types of downloads:

  • SIF, or Standard Integration File, which can be edited.
  • SQL, or Structured Query Language, which cannot be edited.
4An integration can be marked as not selectable from the UI if the integration is configured as a backend process, such as a webservice. In such cases, the Can Run From UI would indicate ‘No.’
5To view the details of a download connector, select the appropriate link in the Name column.

Download Data Details Page

Some of the information on the connector can be edited. To do that, you would click the Edit button to change selected information about the connector.
