Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to navigate the View all Notifications admin object.

View all Notifications

Each User has their own SAP Fieldglass home page where they periodically receive notifications. Users may delete notifications after they read them, but a log of all notifications is kept within the SAP Fieldglass application.

The Message Center in SAP Fieldglass displaying 5 of the 7 types of messages that can be sent to the user: Reminder, which in addition to the Name, Subject, and date received includes a small icon displayed as purple; Chat, which is green; Starred, which is orange; Question, which is cyan; and Broadcast, which is gray. To the left of the message list is a section containing a legend of the message types and colors. Each message type include a checkbox that you would select to display only that type of message. Alerts and Notifications, which are red and blue, respectively, are also listed as message types but do not appear in the messages list.

View All Notifications within the Admin menu allows Administrators to view the history of notifications that have been sent to Users within your company.

Navigating the View All Notifications Admin Object

1To review the notification history, select View All Notifications from the System Tools section of the admin menu.

View all Notifications List Page

View All Notifications page. The page is broken into two sections, where the top half lists the notifications and the bottom half displays the details of a selected notification. The notification list includes details about who the notification is from, who it's meant for, the subject, the date and time it was received, and the email address of the sender. Above the notifications list are start and end date fields that allow you to narrow the list of notification. The Date range fields and the Email column. are highlighted.

Administrators can view a log of system-generated notifications used to track SAP Fieldglass activity for every user within a company.

For more details on the notification message, select it from the list and scroll to the bottom of the list to see a detailed view in the preview pane.

2Enter the start and end date to generate an initial list of system-generated notifications, then click Apply Filters. If needed, use the fields under the column headings to further filter the entries in the notification list.
3Messages may display as Sent or Not Sent. If a User is configured to NOT receive email, the Email field will show as Not Sent.
