Managing Supported Languages

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to add a supported language to SAP Fieldglass.

Supported Languages

SAP Fieldglass can support multiple world languages. However, only US English is defaulted in the application and cannot be removed from the list. Other languages must be selected from a preconfigured list to be activated in SAP Fieldglass.

SAP Fieldglass is available in the following languages:

Navigating the Supported Languages Admin Object

The Company Structure section of the Admin Menu, Supported language selection is highlighted.

1	To view the list of languages activated in SAP Fieldglass, select Supported Languages from the Company Structure section of the admin menu.

Supported Languages List page

The Supported Languages List displays the languages that have been activated for a tenant. It does not represent the complete list of supported languages.

Some available languages, such as English, Portuguese, and French, include regional variations, such as Canadian French or British English.

2	Languages can be added to the list by selecting the Add button.
3	Languages can be removed from the list by selecting the X at the far right of a listed language.

Selecting the Add button on the Supported Languages List page will open the menu listing all languages supported by SAP Fieldglass.

4	To add a language to the list, simply select the radio button next to the language you wish to add….
5	…and select the Add button at the bottom of the menu.

Summary

SAP Fieldglass supports multiple languages globally, with US English being the default that cannot be removed. Users can activate other languages from a preconfigured list.
