In the Segmentation menu, select Create Segment to open the Condition Builder. ![]() |
| Step 3: Name the Segmentation Tag |
|---|
Name the Segmentation Tag for ease of use and clearly define its conditions. Once ready, select Done. Please Note: Segmentation conditions can have any type of rule; however, it is recommended to use variables for user identification as variables tend to be seen on every page of the platform. ![]() |
| Step 4: Apply the Segmentation to Content |

Now that our Segmentation Tag has been defined, we can apply it to our WalkMe content by selecting Add Item. This will allow us to apply this new Segmentation condition to any piece of content we choose. Please Note: At any point, we can remove and apply Segmentation Tags to any piece of WalkMe content.
