The further overarching vision for training management is to implement a uniform philosophy and style of play for all teams within the club. In order to determine the degree to which this vision is established and developed over the season, numerous analyses can be carried out too. This involves comparing all teams in all areas of training management.
For example, comparing the training objectives and player skills trained for a specific training period for each team can provide insight into the training management focus. This allows the club to determine whether there are similarities in training and whether, for example, a particular style of play or philosophy was favored. An example of such an analysis would be a ball-oriented style of play that has been established as the club's own philosophy.
In addition, other comparisons can be made between teams, such as comparing training intensities. This serves to determine whether there is a uniform approach to prepare players for advancement to future age groups and to ease their entry into a new training management environment.
In the following analysis, the minutes trained per team for individual tactics drills are evaluated and mapped. This will show how often drills from a particular category were trained and what the training focus was for each team in a given period. The following example shows that the overarching club philosophy is focusing on compact defending and that this philosophy is trained and internalized by both the professional team and the youth team.
